Organizer Details:

TECHSAT '15 is a first National Level Technical Symposium conducting by the department of ELECTRONICS & COMMUNICATION ENGINEERING, SELVAM COLLEGE OF TECHNOLOGY, NAMAKKAL. The TECHSAT '15 consists of many events like Paper Presentation, Project Expo ,etc which will act as ideal platform to explore students creativity and innovations in the field of electronics & communication.

Eligible to attend (ECE, EEE, E&I, CSE, IT, BIO, AERO)

Events:

1. Paper Presentation (ECE,EEE,E&I, CSE/IT,BIO, AERO,MCA )

• The Paper submission must be under the following topics (Wireless networks, Embedded systems, Vlsi, Fuzzy logic, Neural networks,Digital signal/image processing, Nona technology, Avionics, Robotics, Medical electronics, Applications of Electronics) 
• Maximum 2 members per team.
• Paper should not exceed 6 pages
• Time duration :10mins (8 mins for presentation +2 mins for queries).
• Selected participants should bring two hard copies of the paper on the day of symposium.
• Soft copy should be submitted at the registration desk.(CD or Pen drive )
• Soft copy of Paper should be submitted on or before 5.01.2015.
• Kindly include a valid email ID and your mobile number along with the paper. The selected papers will be intimated on 6.01.2015 by email.

2. Project Expo (ECE,EEE,E&I, CSE/IT,AERO,BIO, MCA)

• Maximum 2 members per team.
• Send the Soft copy of Project abstract and circuit diagram on or before 5.01.2015.
• Kindly include a valid email ID and your mobile number along with the abstract of the project
• The selected Project will be intimated on 6.01.2015 by email.

3. Circuit Debugging (ECE,EEE,E&I)

• Circuit Debugging contains two rounds

SELECTION ROUND :-

• Maximum two members per team.
• Preliminary level consist of consist of technical test
• Time duration 20 minutes.

FINAL ROUND:-

• The teams which are qualified in a preliminary level only allowed for final round.
• Circuit will be given on the spot. 
• 30 Minutes for spotting the bug

4. Multimedia(ECE,EEE,E&I, CSE/IT,BIO, AERO,MCA,MECH&CIVIL )

• Multimedia presentation on their own topic not exceeding 10 minutes
• Two members per Team
• Should be Innovative and Animated
• Any number of teams can participate from same college
• last date for submission multimedia copy in CD/DVD on or before 5th jan 2015,Topic & rules for the selected participants will be intimated via e-mail on 6th jan 2015
