HOW TO UNLOCK OR RESET PATTERN LOCK IN ANDROID MOBILE PHONE

Most of the android users are using pattern lock to provide security to the android mobile phones. Pattern lock security is not more secure than key security.But, this method is one of the easy method to log in to mobile phones by simply scratching over mobile screen. If you try many wrong attempts, automatically it will be locked.

This pattern lock security option is not available in the mobile phones that are using windows operation systems.

Unlock Pattern Lock

Pattern Lock Unlocking Methods:

If you forget the pattern lock key, there are three method to recover it,

• Method 1 : Security Question
• Method 2 : Google Account
• Method 3 : Restore Factory Settings

Method 1 & 2:

If you don't have internet access to your mobile or not enabled data connection before the phone gets locked, skip this method 1 and method 2 and move on to method 3

If you try more than five or six times with wrong patters, automatically a pop up window will be displayed to show "next" and "Try Again".

Click Next and answer the security question which you given initially, if not, enter the Google ID that you have synced with your phone.

Method 3:

Note : In this method, all the data and apps will be deleted from your phone

• Switch off your phone by holding the power button
• Now press, "Volume up + Power Button + Home Key" together for a while.if not working, try ""Volume up + Power Button"
• A new window will be opened, in that choose "Restore Factory Defaults” or “Delete all User Data” or "Reset" by using volume up or down keys and select it by clicking power button.
• Now scroll down to select "Reboot System Now"
• That's all....all the data will be removed and you will get a phone as like when you bought your phone.
