What is meant by Query Language | Define Query Language

Query Language Data Base Management System:

A query language is a language in which a user requests a information from the database.

Query language can be divided into two,they are

• Procedural language
• Non-Procedural language

Procedural language : 

In this language , the user instructs the system to perform a sequence of operations on the database to compute the desired result.

Non-Procedural language :

In this non-procedural language , the user describes the desired information without giving a specific procedure for obtaining that information.
